. Minneota Public Schools Mission Statement
Minneota Public Schools will create - in partnership with our staff, families, and community - challenging opportunities for all students to be successful as they become caring, responsible and contributing citizens and master the knowledge and skills essential for life-long learning in our ever-changing and diverse world.
Our School District is located in Minneota, Minnesota, which is 12 miles from Marshall along State Highway 68. Minneota Public Schools is a rural Pre-K-12 District of around 465 students, all served in one building. Along with providing strong academics, Minneota also offers a comprehensive activity and athletic program.
The District employs 80 staff members to assist and serve our students, with a total budget of approximately 4.8 million dollars. The School Board is made up of six members, with a seventh member being added in November 2009. Public Board meetings are generally held on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the High School Library.
